Renewing Drainage Contract
Here at The Drain Company (Hull) Ltd we have been working with a water treatment utility company that operates throughout Yorkshire. We have been working with this company to help maintain the drainage systems throughout Yorkshire for over a year. They have decided to renew our contract after seeing our results throughout the year. The work we have carried out throughout the year has proactive and reactive drainage work.
What is Involved in Proactive and Reactive Work?
The proactive work that is carried out by our engineers who travel throughout preparing drains in advance to reduce the amount of blocked drains in Yorkshire. The proactive work our engineers carry could be in the form of drain cleaning to reduce the chances of the drain becoming blocked, and reduce the odour coming from the drains. Another form of proactive work our engineers will carry out is performing drain camera surveys to see if the drain is working condition, or needs further work done to it. By performing a drain camera survey it allows our engineers to report any defects to water treatment company. This company has a specialist team that deals with the defects to ensure that the all drainage systems throughout Yorkshire operate efficiently.
The reactive work our engineers carry is in response to poor weather in parts of Yorkshire. For example if there has been heavy rainfall in East Yorkshire our engineers would be sent to that area. Our engineers would help the drainage systems that had affected due to the poor weather. Our engineers may be tasked to perform camera surveys, drain cleaning, or jetting drains to help reduce the amount of blocked drains that need reporting to the defect team.
