What is Cash for Kids Mission Christmas?
Mission Christmas is Cash for Kids’ flagship campaign where the aim is to get a gift to child in poverty at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas Day.
Applications are received from local governing bodies, like the council, social services and charities like Women’s Aid, all looking to make Christmas magical for the children they work with. Last year Viking FM’s Cash for Kids helped 19,574 children across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire and we couldn’t have done it without local businesses and the local community getting involved and buying an extra gift to donate to the campaign, fundraising for us or donating their time to volunteer and help in our Mission HQ.
How did The Drain Company help?
The Drain Company (Hull) Ltd is always looking to give back to the people of Hull and the surrounding areas. Our donation towards Mission Christmas is just the latest example of us giving back to the local community.
Our Managing Director and Head of Operations personally dropped off two van loads of selection boxes and toys at Viking FM’s Mission Christmas drop off point.
