Our Brush Coating Resin System is an innovative European technique now being pioneered in the UK, which repairs the existing damaged drain pipe without the need for full cast replacement. This new technique also replaces older methods of pipe lining which previously involved inserting a physical Epoxy coated liner into the pipe. With our new advanced method, an Epoxy resin is sprayed directly into the pipe, which lines the pipe in multiple layers achieving high quality results in half the time.

The Process:

Our team offers a fast and reliable process, from assessment right through to finished service when it comes to carrying out our brush coating service: 

1. Assess The Area

A camera is inserted into the pipe so we can retrieve footage to assess the current condition of the pipe and help map the system.

2. Clean & Descale

The pipe is etched back to its original metal layer using a range of tools including sweepers, chains, brushes and cutters to achieve a clean and clear surface ready for coating. 

3. First Coating

The pipe is brush coated with the first layer of resin, which will naturally seep into any existing cracks and holes.

4. Heating

The pipe is heated to speed up cure time and dry the resin. 

5. Second Coating

A special cutter is then inserted to prepare for the second coating. A second coat of resin is then applied.

6. Final Checks

Once the second coat has been set and cured, a camera will be reinserted to make final checks, inspecting the new brush coating resin lining until it is fully proofed and ready for use.

Re-lining & Patch Lining

If you’re in need of an updated liner to strengthen current drainage infrastructure, we offer a CIPP (cured-in-place) which is a seamless polyester liner cut to your required length. The liner is impregnated with epoxy and inserted into the old pipe using compressed air or water. If the damage is more localised and you don’t require the full re-lining we also offer patch lining for more focused areas of repair. The patch lining can also be sprayed after the initial lining if you have a hole bigger than 5mm.
